QC Universal Coatings high
heat ceramic coatings represent the latest technology in exhaust coatings.
This technology combined with QC's industry leading Quality Control
assures maximum results.
|
All headers and exhaust components
are first coated on the inside with a Thermal Barrier coating. This
smooth coating not only protects against corrosion and carbon deposits,
it also provides the first layer of heat insulation from exhaust gases.
Keeping heat inside the pipe creates better heat scavenging properties,
aiding in the flow of your exhaust system. It is also particularly beneficial
in high performance 2-stroke engine applications such as snowmobiles,
helping them to warm up faster, burn hotter and cleaner, and stay in
the ideal operating temperature range for maximum power, performance
and consistency.

The most popular exhaust coating
is our Chrome formula. Featuring the good looks of polished aluminium,
it also has unmatched chemical and corrosion resistance. Color stable
to 1500 F, this coating (as well as all other ceramic coatings) will
not weaken or break down over time. The coating will actually use the
exhaust heat to continue to harden itself over time.

QC Universal Coatings
Satin Metallic line-up gives you a choice of 8 colors. These coatings
not only look great, they also offer color stability to 2200 F.
|
The color choices are:
|
Cobalt - Gold
Jet Black - Mag Silver
Satin Silver - Titanium
Tungsten Grey - Cobra Black
|
There are several uses for these
coatings beyond headers and exhaust, and some of them are:
Chrome Bike Pipes; protect
your chrome exhaust systems by coating the inside of them with our
Thermal Barrier exhaust coating. This protects the chrome from getting
burned, resulting in unsightly blue and purple discoloration and cracking.
Automotive dress up; for most
underhood components, protect them and keep them looking great. Good
for anything from oil pans to master cylinders.
